I'm so excited to be writing this post because my boyfriend and I just booked a last minute trip to Antigua! I've never been to Antigua before but lord knows I can use a vacation ;). While doing some shopping for my trip I was thinking, damn I really am a pro travel planner (for clothes & items at least). Here is everything on my check list before I leave for my trip!
Pom Pom's:
Ok, I don't know why but sometimes I have this psychic ability where I'm able to foresee a trend. Right now a summer trend that is coming to me is pompom's. You may be thinking those are soooooo 12 year old chic. But I'm telling you they're making a comeback & I've decided to make them the theme of my trip. Here are a few of the items I've added to my cart:
Comfy Chic Shoes
Where I'm going you literally have to hike up to your room, so I'm ditching the heels for this trip. That being said comfort is key but I also don't want to bring any of my expensive shoes. I've added a few new pairs to my wardrobe that will be perfect for this trip & just good to have for summer in general. Check them out:
The RIGHT Sunscreen
Sunscreen can be loaded with some serious chemicals - no bueno. I did research behind this brand and found they only use minerals and organically sourced materials in their products, so I ordered the travel kit (is it weird that ordering this excited me lol?). The kit is so great because I'm not checking a bag and it comes with different levels of SPF for each area of the body.
A Carryon Suitcase That Will Fit It All
I have serious paranoia about losing my luggage, therefor I never check a luggage unless I absolutely have to. This luggage is durable, techy with its built in charger and fits everything I need. A major plus is it comes with a laundry bag for dirty items ( I seriously hate having to throw in my dirty clothes with my clean ones).
Hot Yet Cheap Sunnies
I have my set of expensive sunnies that I carefully place in and out of the case everytime I wear them, but when I'm on vaca I want to be care-free. So I have a stash of throwaway ones that I won't be so upset about if I God-forbid left them at the beach by accident. Free People has literally had the best selection lately. These are my top pics:
