I’ve always enjoyed doing my own makeup, but over the past few months my makeup obsession has gotten intense. I find myself at Sephora once a week at this point and I’m constantly doing research on the best products.
Did I also mention I’m one of those people who can spend hours watching makeup tutorials on youtube? #GUILTY. So anyway, throughout my research I’ve stumbled upon the art of “Baking” your face. Baking essentially occurs after your foundation and concealer are applied, and it allows the heat from your face to set your makeup.
Basically, I let translucent powder sit on my face for about 5-10 minutes (I use Laura Mercier Translucent Powder). To apply the powder I dip a damp beauty blender into it and dab it onto every area of the face that I have highlighted (under eyes, chin, middle forehead, top of nose and lower cheeks) After the time is up I dust it off my face gently with a makeup brush, and taadaaaaa I’M BAKED! And my skin is left looking creaseless and bright ;).
